Stakeholder Engagement Process

Jan. 11, 2013

A big thank you to those that joined our seminal stakeholder meeting this past Wednesday (Jan. 9) to discuss the creation of a strategic framework guiding open burning and smoke control in the Sea to Sky / Howe Sound Airshed. The meeting explored diverse perspectives and priorities and produced some terrific insights. If you were unable to attend on Wednesday, there are still several opportunities to be involved in the development of the framework over the next couple of months. Please see the steps below for details.

Next Steps:

  1. Submit survey (ASAP)
  2. Review the Jan. 9th meeting notes (to be sent by Jan. 18th), provide comments (by Jan. 25th)
  3. Complete Doodle Poll (sent by Jan. 18th) for best conference call date & time (scheduled between Feb.5th-8th)
  4. Participate in call (Feb.5th-8th)*
  5. Review Framework Draft (Mar. 1), provide comments (by Mar. 6th)
  6. Complete Stakeholder Engagement Process Evaluation (Mar. 6th)
  7. Receive Final Framework (Mar. 31st)

*You will be broken down into several smaller groups to make the conference calls manageable and to accommodate everyone’s schedule.
